We at Gigaphoton are pleased to announce that we are celebrating the 10-year anniversary of our founding (on August 1, 2000).

As you know, in the semiconductor industry, we constantly face new technological challenges; every one-and-a-half or two years, we must introduce technologies that allow finer circuit patterns.

For lithography light sources, we have continued development of technologies to enhance spectral quality, repetition rate, and output power, as well as to shorten the wavelengths from i-line UV to KrF excimer lasers and from KrF to ArF excimer lasers.

At present, we are proceeding with development of EUV light sources, which are indispensable to achieve the design rule of hp 22 nm.

For our current production models of KrF and ArF excimer laser light sources, we have been working on reducing cost while maintaining their high quality levels, and simultaneously providing round-the-clock technical support to maintain an extremely high uptime of beyond 99%.

In such a dynamic business environment, we have faced crucial challenges several times. However, we have been able to successfully overcome them while building a firm relationship of mutual trust between our customers and suppliers and employees. We have grown to become a leading company with a 50% world market share.

We at Gigaphoton will continue to provide the No.1 technologies and quality products and contribute to development of the semiconductor industry and of society.
