Evaluation of Zero defect over one year

Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture; October 25th, 2017 — Gigaphoton Inc., a leading manufacturer of light sources used in semiconductor lithography, was honored with a Supplier Award from the industry-leading lithography equipment manufacturer ASML.

On the occasion of ASML’s “ASML Supplier Day”; held in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, on September 14, 2017, Gigaphoton was highly commended for achieving Zero defect over one year and honored with an award. Of all suppliers, only three received an award, of which only Gigaphoton was a DUV-related manufacturer.

Katsumi Uranaka, President & CEO of Gigaphoton said, “It is a great honor to receive such an award from ASML, the largest lithography equipment manufacturer. This commendation is thanks to the single-minded stance adopted by our employees in striving to achieve our philosophy of ‘providing No. 1 technology and quality products’. １年以上に渡る不具合０（Zero defect）が評価

栃木県小山市； 2017年10月25日　—　半導体露光用光源の主要メーカーであるギガフォトン株式会社は、最大手露光装置メーカーであるASML社より、サプライヤー表彰を受けたと発表しました。

2017年9月14日、オランダ フェルトホーフェンで開かれたASML社の「ASML Supplier Day」にて、ギガフォトンは不具合0（Zero defect）を1年に渡り継続したことが高く評価され、表彰を受けました。今回表彰を受けたのは全サプライヤー中で３社のみであり、またDUV関連メーカーとしてはギガフォトンだけでした。

ギガフォトン代表取締役社長兼CEOの浦中克己はこう述べています。「最大手露光装置メーカーであるASML社よりこのような賞を頂き、大変名誉に思います。この表彰は社員が一丸となり、当社の理念である『No.1の技術・品質の商品の提供』に邁進した結果です。ギガフォトンは今後もお客様に貢献し、共に成長する企業であり続けていきます。」
