GIGAPHOTON employees take part in “National Skills Competition” in Japan

From 21st of October to 24th, the “National Skills Competition” will be held in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. The competition has 41 categories, and two young employees of our company will take part in the category of "Industrial Control", as the representatives of Tochigi Prefecture.

The “National Skills Competition”, started in 1963, is a nation-wide convention that aims to foster the technicians who will sustain the future of Japan industry. It also aims to make the importance of the "MONOZUKURI (Design and Manufacturing)" well understood by the public. In this competition, young talented technicians of 23 years old or younger gather from all over the country and compete aiming for championship in 41 categories, and high achievers will have the honor of being elected as the representative player of Japan for the next year's “World Skills Competition”.

Gigaphoton as well as Komatsu Ltd. Group and Tochigi Prefecture are very much honored to send our employees for the "Industrial Control Category" for the first time. Please join to cheer our two young representative players!
